Five-Dot lake, on the historic Five-Dot ranch, is situated just outside of Susanville, CA. and has gained notoriety as one of California’s premier private water fly fisheries.  An abundance of aquatic insects and leeches as well as a variety of hatches allow for ample opportunity to hook one of these hard fighting fish.  The lake has easy access for shore fishing and there are a number of 1-2 man rowboats available.  A pontoon boat or pram is recommended and can be supplied.
